(FYI our international readers -"Canuck" is slang for Canadian)
A quiet port in a storm, a slice of familiarity in a strange land, or just a place to
go when you miss your mommy, sometimes it's nice to find a little piece of
home when you're far away from it. Travelling the globe can be highly
rewarding, but often lonely. As a Canadian abroad, I found comfort in
a few locales that had a distinctly Canadian flavour. In this series we
embark on a Euro-Quest from London to Lisbon to the
Mediterranean islands of Mallorca and Crete as we
relive this writers jaded journey through some of
