Eden Golf & |
|
Eden was founded in 1940, incorporated in 1941, by Judge K.L. Crowell. The Eden Colf Course has long enjoyed a reputation as one of the best 9-hole golf courses in Nova Scotia. Now with th addition of their new back nine, opened March 27th, 1999 it is truly a top notch faciality where golfers can enjoy a relaxed game or a challenging round.
Eden is located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, five miles east of Bridgetown, on Highway 201, at Paradise (where else would you find "Eden") and is only an hour and half from Halifax-Dartmouth. Eden has a long playing season (early April to late October or into November) and is one of the first courses in the province to open for play each season. Nestled in majestic pines, Eden offers a challenge to the low handicapper as well as the casual golfer. The combination of narrow fairways, small difficult-to-read greens, water hazards, sand bunkers and dog-leg fairways require the player to manage his/her game and offers premium scores for accurate golf shots. Visitors
are always welcome in Paradise. Tee times are preferred, especially
on weekends, but during the week green feers can usually just drive
up with little wait, though calling ahead is never a bad idea. After
all, who wants to wait to get in to Eden ;-) P. O. Box 273 West Paradise, Nova Scotia B0S 1C0 Telephone: 902-665-4257 Fax: 902-665-2836 |
